Kate and Dean’s wedding at Hawkstone Hall was full of personality, beautiful autumnal colours and plenty of surprises. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be a wedding with a brilliant mix of relaxed moments, emotional memories and a seriously good party.
The morning began with the girls getting ready together in one of the beautiful bridal preparation rooms at Hawkstone Hall. Upstairs, Kate and her bridesmaids enjoyed hair and make-up before getting ready for the ceremony, surrounded by warm burnt-orange tones and beautiful floral arrangements. Meanwhile, the boys had their own way of preparing for the day, spending time downstairs in the caves playing pool and video games. There was even a subtle Christmas-inspired theme running through the morning, adding another personal touch to the celebrations.
Kate made a beautiful entrance into the chapel at Hawkstone Hall for the ceremony, before the newlyweds headed into their drinks reception. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't quite on our side, so much of the reception took place indoors. The couple embraced it completely, kicking things off with a champagne tower before enjoying time with their guests.
Hawkstone Hall's Winter Gardens provided a beautiful backdrop for photographs, including some relaxed couple portraits and photographs with their wedding party. When the rain finally gave us a break, we took the opportunity to head outside and make the most of the grounds around the hall. The front of Hawkstone Hall gave us another beautiful setting for some quieter photographs of Kate and Dean together, before bringing everyone outside for confetti photographs.
The celebrations really came to life after the speeches, when the couple surprised their guests with singing waiters. What followed was exactly the kind of joyful chaos you hope for at a wedding, with a conga line making its way around the room, guests dancing on chairs and everyone joining in. It was the perfect way to get the party started before Kate and Dean took to the floor for their first dance, surrounded by their friends and family.
From the autumnal details and beautiful setting to the unexpected singing waiters and packed dance floor, Kate and Dean's Hawkstone Hall wedding was a wonderful reminder that the best wedding days are the ones that feel completely like you.
