Georgia and James’ wedding at Pimhill Barn in Shropshire was a relaxed and incredibly fun celebration filled with beautiful countryside, personal touches and plenty of personality. From an outdoor ceremony and confetti tunnel to Beefy Boys burgers, smoke bombs and a champagne spray, their Pimhill Barn wedding was full of moments that felt completely true to them.
Georgia spent the morning getting ready at Pimhill Barn with her mum and bridesmaids in the bridal preparation area. The atmosphere was relaxed as everyone got ready together before the excitement of the ceremony began. We also captured a lovely reveal with Georgia’s bridesmaids out in the gardens, giving them some time together before heading into the ceremony.
The ceremony took place outdoors, making the most of the beautiful Shropshire countryside surrounding Pimhill Barn. With their family and friends gathered together, Georgia and James exchanged their vows before heading into the celebrations as newlyweds.
Straight after the ceremony, their guests formed two lines outside the barn, creating the perfect confetti tunnel for Georgia and James to walk through. It was a brilliant burst of energy and gave everyone the chance to properly celebrate the newly married couple before heading into the drinks reception.
During the reception, we captured some family and group photographs before taking Georgia and James away for a relaxed couples photo shoot around the Pimhill Barn grounds. The countryside setting provided a beautiful backdrop for photographs, while keeping the session informal and giving them plenty of time to enjoy their day.
One of the most memorable details of the wedding was the couple’s choice of wedding breakfast. Rather than a traditional sit-down wedding meal, Georgia and James had Beefy Boys burgers. It was such a perfect reflection of their personalities that the burgers quickly became one of the iconic photographic moments from their wedding day!
As the afternoon turned into evening, the celebrations became even more colourful. Georgia and James joined their wedding party for photographs with smoke bombs, creating some fun and dramatic images. This was followed by a champagne spray with the newlyweds - because few things say “we’re married” quite like spraying champagne everywhere!
The evening celebrations then moved onto the dance floor, beginning with Georgia and James’ first dance before their guests joined them for a night of dancing and celebration.
From the emotional morning preparations and outdoor ceremony to the confetti tunnel, Beefy Boys burgers, smoke bombs and champagne spray, Georgia and James’ Pimhill Barn wedding was relaxed, joyful and full of personality. It was exactly the kind of wedding day that gives us the opportunity to capture genuine moments rather than simply creating a set of posed photographs.
Pimhill Barn provided the perfect Shropshire setting for a wedding that was informal, fun and completely focused on the couple and the people they love.
