Caitlin and Dale’s wedding at Wootton Park was a beautiful celebration filled with heartfelt moments, personal touches and plenty of fun. Set against the stunning lakeside surroundings of Wootton Park in Warwickshire, their wedding day brought together an outdoor ceremony, emotional family moments, their much-loved dog and an unforgettable party.
Despite the weather forecast predicting thunderstorms, Caitlin was determined to have an outdoor ceremony. Thankfully, the rain held off for most of the ceremony, allowing the couple to exchange their vows surrounded by their family and friends. Just as they were signing the register, a short shower arrived, creating one of the most memorable photographs of the day. While Caitlin and Dale remained safely under shelter, their guests sat outside with umbrellas raised, making for a wonderfully authentic wedding photograph.
The morning was filled with emotional moments, including cards exchanged between the bride and groom and a beautiful first look with Dale. Caitlin also shared special reveals with her dad and stepdad, capturing the love and excitement of the people closest to her. Their dog took on the important role of ring bearer, adding another personal and much-loved element to their ceremony.
After the ceremony, we explored the grounds for relaxed couple portraits, including photographs with their dog and on Wootton Park’s beautiful wooden swing. The outdoor surroundings provided a wonderful backdrop for natural, romantic wedding photography, with the lake and countryside creating a timeless setting.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to take a boat out onto the lake. Caitlin and Dale were more than happy to enjoy this experience, giving us the chance to capture some beautiful and unique wedding photographs on the water.
The speeches brought plenty of laughter, particularly when the father of the bride announced a toast and revealed that he had hidden a piece of toast on every guest’s seat! Everyone raised their toast together, creating a fun and unexpected moment that perfectly reflected the relaxed atmosphere of the day.
The celebrations continued with the cake cutting and first dance, before all the guests joined Caitlin and Dale on the dance floor. From the emotional first looks to the lakeside portraits and hilarious toast, their Wootton Park wedding was full of genuine moments, love and laughter.
